LINK-UP,Extremmepoint.com : - Gatot Abdullah Mansyur, sebagai Dubes RI setuju dengan pernyataan Menteri Agama, Suryadarma Ali, agar penyelenggara non kuota atau sandal jepit harus ditangkap setibanya di Tanah Air, Kamis (27/10/2011) pukul 11.00 wib.

"Karena merusak system, mereka harus ditangkap, ditindak, dan dihukum seberat-beratnya sesuai dengan aturan, bukan hanya izin perusahaan travelnya yang harus dicabut, tetapi juga pengelolanya harus ditangkap, dan dijebloskan kepenjara,” tegas Gatot dengan agak marah.

Masih menurut Gatot, penyelenggara haji non kuota adalah mafia dalam bentuk agen perjalanan, sejauh ini, pihaknya telah mewanti-wanti agar keberadaan jamaah haji non kuota yang mendapatkan visa dari Kedubes Arab Saudi di Jakarta tidak sampai mengganggu jamaah haji regular, kita dan Menteri Agama sudah memperingatkani ke Muassasah, jangan sampai ada jamaah haji non kuota disusupkan lagi ke tenda jamaah haji reguler seperti tahun lalu,  pihaknya telah berkali-kali mengajukan pertanyaan kepada Duta Besar Arab Saudi di Jakarta perihal jamaah haji non kuota, mereka selalu mengaku tidak pernah memberikan visa kepada jamaah haji non kuota, tetapi ternyata masih ada kebocoran, dan ada saja jamaah haji non kuota, pemberian visa merupakan hak setiap negara, biasanya Kerajaan Arab Saudi memberikan visa haji untuk non kuota hanya untuk undangan kerajaan saja dengan sejumlah sekitar 100 orang, diluar itu tidak ada, tahun ini disyukuri jumlah jamaah haji sandal jepit itu telah berkurang, pada tahun ini sekitar 889 jamaah haji non kuota, padahal tahun lalu mencapai 3.000 orang dan tahun sebelumnya 5.000 orang.”

Menteri Agama, Suryadarma Ali mengatakan “harus ada tindakan komprehensif untuk mengatasi haji non kuota, menurut undang-undang penyelenggaraan haji itu kan di bawah Kementerian Agama, jika ada yang di luar itu sama saja dengan melanggar undang-undang.,dan polisi punya hak untuk menangkap, salah satu jalan keluarnya adalah tiga Kementrian harus duduk bersama seperti Kementerian Agama, Kementerian Luar Negeri, dan juga Kementerian Hukum dan HAM.

Temuan di Bandara King Abdul Azis, Jeddah, didapati jamaah tidak menyadari bahwa mereka adalah jamaah haji non kuota, mereka mengaku sebagai jamaah haji khusus. Karena telah membayar uang lebih dari Rp50-70 juta, sama dengan haji khusus. Padahal mereka tidak mendapatkan nomor porsi, gelang identitas, dan juga DAPIH (Data Administrasi Perjalanan Ibadah Haji) yang didapatkan setiap jamaah haji baik reguler ataupun haji khusus.

Salah satu dampak yang buruk dari jamaah haji non kuota adalah terlantar, yang terbaru adalah terlantarnya jenazah jamaah haji non kuota bernama Nuncy Adi, jenazah calhaj yang mengikuti agen perjalanan Cahaya MM ini terbengkalai di rumah sakit  tanpa ada yang mengurus, setelah pihak muassasah memberitahukannya ke Daker Madinah, barulah diketahui bahwa almarhum adalah jamaah haji non kuota, pihak Cahaya MM yang dipanggil Kasi PAM Madinah meminta maaf dan mengakui kekhilafannya, mereka mengaku tidak bisa mengurus jenazah di Arab Saudi.( LINK-UP,EXTREMMEPOINT)
