Selain itu, perjalanan darat ini terinspirasi oleh perjalanan ayah mereka menjelajahi benua ini 30 tahun yang lalu untuk tampil di konser perayaan kebebasan di Zimbabwe dan akan disiarkan oleh channel Discovery World mulai 2 November mendatang.

Pada perjalanan yang dipimpin oleh putra tertua Bob Marley, Ziggy Marley ini, ketiganya akan benar-benar berbaur dengan penduduk wilayah yang akan mereka lewati. Untuk tidur pun ketiganya akan berteduh dan berkemah bersama penduduk lokal.

Hal itu menurut ketiganya berguna, selain untuk mendekatkan diri dengan kebudayaan Afrika, tapi juga berguna untuk menggali cita rasa musik asli benua ini.
