Denpasar, Extremmepoint.com:- Nilai santunan (klaim) akibat kecelakaan kerja (Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja/JKK) yang diberikan PT Jamsostek Bali I selama 2011 lalu mengalami kenaikan yang cukup signifikan dibandingkan 2010 lalu. Jika pada 2010 jumlah klaim yang dibayarkan mencapai sekitar RP 3,7 miliar lebih, namun pada 2011 naik menjadi Rp 5,5 miliar lebih.
"Secara umum nilai klaim JKK yang dibayarkan pada tahun 2011
mengalami kenaikan dibandingkan tahun 2010," kata Kepala PT Jamsostek Bali I B Yudo Nurcahyo, Rabu (11/1), di Denpasar.
Menurutnya, selama 2010 ada sekitar 423 kasus kecelakaan kerja di Bali. Jumlah ini, lanjut Yudo, naik menjadi 477 kasus pada 2011. "Sebagian besar kasus kecelakaan kerja di Bali adalah akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas, yakni mencapai 69 persen. 26 persen lagi karena kecelakaan kerja di dalam perusahaan dan 5 persen lagi karena bukan lalu lintas," paparnya.
Dia menyebutkan, besarnya klaim yang diberikan untuk biaya perobatan atau perawatan akibat kecelakaan kerja ini maksimal Rp 20 juta. "Nilai pemberian biaya perawatan ini naik dari sebelumnya hanya maksimal Rp 12 juta menjadi Rp 20 juta," tuturnya.
Pada bagian lain, Yudo menjelaskan bahwa jumlah perusahaan yang menjadi peserta Jamsostek di Bali dari 2010 ke 2011 mengalami kenaikan sekitar 49 persen. Pada 2010, imbuh Yudo, perusahaan yang masuk menjadi peserta Jamsostek sebanyak 356 perusahaan. Namun jumlah ini naik pada 2011, yakni 531 perusahaan yang masuk menjadi peserta Jamsostek.
Sedangkan jumlah tenaga kerja yang menjadi peserta Jamsostek, kata Yudo, naik sebesar 25,6 persen dari 2010 ke 2011. Pada 2010, tandas Yudo, tenaga kerja yang masuk menjadi peserta Jamsostek sebanyak 34.093 orang, tapi pada 2011 pekerja yang masuk sebanyak 42.815 orang.
"Kesadaran perusahaan maupun tenaga kerja di Bali untuk menjadi peserta Jamsostek cukup tinggi, dan kami selalu gencar melakukan sosialisasi," ucapnya.
Pada 2011 ini PT Jamsostek Bali I juga berhasil meraih penghargaan dari Bali International Customers Satisfation Award 2011 untuk kategori layanan publik asuransi.(Tety)
