Surabaya,Etremmepoint.com-Mendekati hari raya Idul Fitri kejahatan dengan kekerasan meningkat dratis, membuat aparat kepolisian meningkatkan kewaspada. Siang tadi, dua pelaku kejahatan yang ditembak mati polisi bernama Khoirul Abidin warga Karangjati-Pasuruan dan Marsum P Holila (36) warga Ketondo-Pasuruan. Kedua pelaku tewas dengan luka tembak di bagian dada.
"Selain spesialis curanmor, mereka juga spesialis nasabah bank," kata Kasat Reskrim Polrestabes Surabaya AKBP Anom Wibowo kepada wartawan di kamar mayat RSU dr Soetomo Surabaya, Selasa (31/8/2010).
Anom menerangkan, jika dua pelaku sudah beraksi di 20 TKP. Mereka saling bergantian dengan pelaku lain saat beraksi.
Menurut Anom, jika keduanya terpaksa ditembak mati karena melakukan perlawanan saat ditangkap. Kedua pelaku, kata dia, sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB berusaha merampas motor milik Joko Pitono warga Nganjuk yang bertempat tinggal di Gubeng Jaya.
Awalnya, Joko yang mengendarai Honda Supra nopol L 6984 FK jatuh tersungkur. Warga dan seorang satpam yang ada di dekat CITO segera berteriak dan terdengar polisi sedang berpatroli.
Saat dilakukan pengejaran hendak ditangkap, pelaku mengeluarkan sajam jenis parang dan akan melawan petugas. Tak ingin mengambil risiko, petugas menembak mati ke-2 pelaku. (Nyoman)
